Longhand
A sentence from a story is hidden in the grid as one unbroken line. Trace it with a finger and read it as you go.
Case notes from the page's own story machine, and pages from The Nine O'Clock Door, the first Longhand book. Every grid has exactly one reading. Progress is kept in this browser.
The book
The Nine O'Clock Door
A case told in one line. The door stood open, yet the key lay in the detective's own pocket — and the whole story runs through fifty-one grids, one sentence a page, on paper you solve with a pen. The Standard level above is the book's level, and every level here opens a different chapter of it: the pages you can play are that chapter's first.
